North Herts Undaunted – The Fight for The Vote

From the 13th October 2018 to the 1st December 2018 this exhibition is on display in the North Herts Museum Brand Street Hitchin  between 10.30 and 4.30 Tuesday to Saturday. Admission is free.

We hope you will take the opportunity to visit the new museum and see this important exhibition in the centenary year of Women gaining the Vote.

Hertfordshire Association for Local History Symposium 2018

“From Roman City to New Towns : Hertfordshire’s development”

Saturday 10th November 2018, 10am to 4.30pm at Lemsford Village Hall

This friendly and informal day is made up of a series of talks and presentations on local history topics by members of local history societies and those working for the County.

In this year’s programme will be a talk on Ebenezer Howard and George Bernard Shaw (by a staff member from Shaw’s Corner) and one by Janet Capstick & Philippa Parker on Letchworth.
